My son bought this for hellos 5th birthday and loves it, however I'm no longer a fan.
Setup: A little sophisticated to position the entire thing collectively but now not too dangerous (and no batteries required - hooray!).
Play: It's a adorable little chain response sequence in response to the movie - press the pedal and Woody flies down the zipline, which makes Hamm break out from the bin, which makes the alien slide to safety in the again of Big Baby's back. It's terribly suave. Except Hamm and the alien are no longer included in this playset. Neither are Buzz and Rex, although their footage are prominently featured on the field. You only get Woody and Big Baby! We had to borrow toys from some other playset to make it work. Stupid Mattel. But once we got it working, my son loved it and went through the stunt sequence again and again, switching it around. This is the simplest set he has however we like the concept that it will probably connect with different stunt sets.
Storage: Miserable. There are numerous pieces and no carrying case.

This has been precisely how we imagined after we bought it. Very durable, and a fun idea too. It is neat that it can be introduced to other units, and that you can make an entire collection of chain reactions, so it teaches planning in play, which is good. If you just needed to set up a playground situation for your toys, than it may just be performed this manner too. Highly counsel.

My son who's 4 1/2 acquired the entire motion links set for christmas. Initially he needed help putting in place the entire set, however once that happened and he saw all of it work in action, he is ready to set it all up by himself now. He is the more or less child though who can spend numerous time working puzzles by using hellomself, lincoln logs, and loves anything cars or trains. He has no fascinated with action hero sort toys so this set used to be something completely different as opposed to automobiles or teachs that entertains him so much. My nephew who is 8 also had a good time taking section in with it. I would recomend it for any child who loves toy story 3 , between a lengthy time four - 9.
