I bought this puzzle/model for my 13yo old who's going on a trip to was onceh dc with college and loves to construct. It seems to be great and is durable, now not too hard to position collectively but took sufficient time that it was enjoyable for hellom. 6 months later it is still sitting on our espresso desk most of the time and appears to be like great.

Santa not too lengthy ago acquired our household a couple of Ravensburger 3D puzzles for Xmas. My husband and my son beloved putting them collectively so much that they wanted to start a collection to display on our mantle. I was tempted to try one of the most cheaper ones (like this one) as they were 1/3 of the fee and still reviewed neatly. I bet I understand why it's so much more cost effective now.
This is now not a puzzle. It's a variation. It comes in flat sheets and you have to pop every piece out of them to position the building together. Unless you label the pieces your self, you do no lengthyer comprehend what piece is what once popped out of the sheets. My seven-year-old wasn't really able to help us construct the white home as he was so occupied with. I felt unhealthy that I had given it to him for Valentine's day.
If I had been on the appearout for a version, I would have rated this better. Guess I'll be sticking with the dearer 3D puzzles.
