I downgraded this to four superstars because the bolt component to the bracket is less than 6 inches long. I put it thru a suite of sistered 2x6 beams so I was best drilling thru 5.5" of wooden. I might just barely get it via enough to begin the threads of the nut. I may then tighten the nut with a view to pull the triangle component into the beam. This is the handiest option to get it on some distance enough to have interaction the nylon ring on the lock nut.

But, it does work. I did no lengthyer need to bury it so deep in the board that the bushing component rubs.

Pros:
- It comes with a nylon lock nut and a was onceher.

Cons:
- The used to beher is not very giant. I bought some fender used to behers to make use of since I'm feeding mine between 2 2x6 beams. I didn't want the was onceher to work its approach down into the joint.
- The nylon bushing is already squeaking (about 20 minutes after installing them)

I will are trying hanging some silicone on them the next time I have the ladder out in order that will need to stop the squeaking expectantly.

Also - be suggested that the bottom loop is completely closed. You will want some sort of S-hook or carabiner to hook the chain onto the bracket. I used carabiners. (on the up facet - there is just now not any manner it will fall off)

All said, its still a just right deal.

Replaced old swing set bushings with these. Have been the usage of for 6+ months and seem to resist constant swinging via little little ones and climate. Met expectations and I would counsel.
